For a week, the Intuit Lab School hosted various artists for workshops in Paris and Marseille.

After a workshopremote international op in 2021 due to the health crisis, it is with particular joy that the Intuit Lab School was able to welcome to its campuses 8 artists from various backgrounds. For this 20th edition, the designer Sarah Boris and the graphic designer Mantrast traveled to Marseille while the illustrators Barbara Malagoli et Bianca Beneduci Assad, the designer Isidro Ferrer, the artistic director Chaittali Patel and the photographers Daniela Ometto et Giovanni Manetti traveled to Paris. In charge of workshops with small groups of students, they shared their universe, their know-how, their passion, discussed their experiences and accompanied our students in 2nd and 3rd year to carry out their creative project during this enriching week.

With her universe exploring femininity, astrology and the cosmos, the Brazilian artist based in London Barbara Malagoli passed on her communicative passion to the students. "Being with people who create all the time brings positive energy," she said. For her part, animator and illustrator Bianca Beneduci Assad shared her know-how with her group, whose animated creations can be seen on the Instagram account. visualjournaling22. The photographers Daniela Ometto and Giovanni Manetti brought their photographic style to accompany the students who went to find musical life in Paris. With techniques of collage, editing and visual transformations, they transformed their photos into new aspects, sometimes unreal.

Using various materials and objects, the students of Isidro Ferrer's workshop experimented to surprise themselves through creation while the students of Chaittali Patel's workshop followed the process of design thinking. From the search for a concept, a name for a country, its mission, to the identification of problems facing countries today, through the shaping of these reflections through design, they did a rewarding job. " There are never wrong ways to create, as long as you listen to your intuition, there are no wrong ideas for learning something new. So always explore freely, think freely, because that's how you create unique stories,” advises Chaittali Patel who is also a teacher atMumbai Intuit Lab School in India.
