Our students develop during their apprenticeship an artistic expertise and a technique specific to the world of game art.

This program allows students to prepare for teamwork and problem solving and to integrate the world of work, particularly in a video game studio environment. The program is dynamic, as the video game industry evolves and technology advances. This ensures that students will be well equipped for employment in the creative industries sector.

PROGRAM

This program is a dive into the development of video games and "game art" which involves learning software and techniques, acquiring expertise in art, and understanding aesthetics and design. production of video games.

Year 1 - Preparatory class

Fundamentals study

This year covers the visual fundamentals that will be essential for future game artists and game designers. The emphasis is on creativity and artistic expression.

Year 2 *

GAMEPLAY & CONCEPTS

An important year of transition, students learn the basic techniques of game design, from concept to visual. This second year aims. to reinforce their knowledge of the game as well as to teach them the basic tools of Game Art and Game Design.

Stage

1 months minimum

During this 1st internship, students will understand the structure of a studio; who does what, who leads, how teams are organized and how their members interact. They will also apply what they have learned in the classroom to the “real” world and adjust their skills to the needs of the project.

Year 3 *

Improvement

It is the year of professionalization and specialization. Students master their technical skills, building on the years. previous studies, and are introduced to the production processes required by the industry, as well as future technologies.

University exchange or internship

Semester 1 (4th year) / 4 months minimum

The Intensive Internship gives students the opportunity to take on greater responsibilities in their studio roles and perform specialist work.
He will have the choice with an international exchange in one of our campuses in the world, or one of our 17 partner universities.

Year 4 *

VIDEO GAME DESIGN

This year is dedicated to thinking and working on the video games of tomorrow. What are the new trends in the game, in terms of themes, playability, interest, technology, uses etc ... Students will also take courses in marketing and monetization, so that they can think and master the commercial viability of their game .

Professionalization

A work-study year in a company where the student puts into practice the skills acquired. This year's priority anchoring is in the design and artistic direction of the game. The students will participate in the production of one or more games and will be integrated into the dynamics of their teams.

How to join the Intuit Lab School?

All application files are submitted to the admissions committee.

Each candidate is received for an admission interview and must present their work and achievements.
