Soft skills: Finding your WHY and throwing eggs

To kick off the year, Bachelor's students participate in a day dedicated to developing soft skills . During this event, they have the opportunity to share, have fun, and reflect with one another. Learning about themselves and finding meaning in their work is key to personal fulfillment.

In this process, each student begins with introspective meditation to understand their "why" and learn to make it their own. Working in pairs, our students share and refine their "why ," which will give meaning to their projects . Through a brainstorming session, they then explore the question: How can I actively participate in my "why" and bring it to life within the school? On a shared wall, intriguing little slips of paper are affixed, each bearing the important values ​​that each student hopes to cultivate throughout their schooling. Individually, our students write a letter to themselves, expressing what is important to them. When they collect these letters at Christmas, they can then see if there has been any progress.

In a more lighthearted atmosphere in the afternoon, our students put their imaginations to use by participating in the Egg Drop Challenge . From a height of several meters, a joyful egg-throwing contest unfolds… with surprising parachutes: balloons, masks, fabric, cardboard—anything goes to try and keep the shell intact. Success or resounding failure, what will be remembered is not so much the landing result but rather the teamwork!
