Meet-Up Live: Our students share their journey

Exchanges and meetings are the best way to envision your higher education in design. A valuable opportunity to discover programs, soak up the school atmosphere , solidify your choices , and learn about current students' paths, Open House events are essential for career guidance. To share this experience with as many people as possible, Intuit Lab School organized a Meetup Live on Instagram on Saturday, March 12, 2022, during its Open House in Paris. Alongside Meike Kraus, Director of Studies , and Philippe Buisson, Head of Masters , our alumni Ariane Burgelin and Emma Perera Gunawardena, as well as Pauline Seymar, Angèle Pivert, and Alexandra Michel, currently in their first and fifth years at Intuit Lab School, shared their experiences.

During this meeting, moderated by Jeanne Sarfati Kermarrec (Intuit Lab class of 2019), our students emphasized the welcoming and familial atmosphere of the school, where they were able to discover themselves and grow. "I understood the importance of the human element in this school, which resonated deeply with me. We are supported, we feel valued, we're not just there to attend classes," said Pauline Seymard, a preparatory student. Alexandra Michel, a fifth-year student who has been at Intuit Lab since her first year, found a structure that suited her perfectly: "It's very family-oriented; when we're here, we feel good. We've come to appreciate the fact that we're comfortable together, that there's no negative competition. Everyone helps each other and pushes each other to improve."

Intuit Lab alumna Ariane Burgelin, now an art director specializing in illustration, appreciated the support provided by the teaching team throughout her studies: “ The students are truly at the heart of the project in their professional experiences . Intuit Lab doesn't leave its students suffering when a company behaves badly.” This support continues even after graduation. Through their experiences, Ariane and Emma Perera were able to understand what they liked and disliked. “There's this understanding that it's okay not to like something, not to feel comfortable in a place,” Emma affirmed.
