Noor Fattal

Noor has just finished her Master 2 in Artistic Direction and Digital Communication at the Intuit Lab School and she tells us a little more about her 🙂

Hello Noor, who are you? What is your background ?

My name is Noor Fattal and I am Franco-Lebanese. I launched into the world of design when I decided to do my license in Graphic Design at ALBA (Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts). After several professional adventures, especially in advertising agencies, I wanted to broaden my field of expertise. I first followed a first Master in Brand Management and Marketing and then arrived at L'École Intuit Lab where I started my Master 2 in Artistic Direction and Digital Communication.

You have just completed your studies at the Intuit Lab School with a work-study year, in which company, in which department did you carry out this training and what mission did you have within the team?

For my work-study program, I was at BNP Paribas Wealth Management within the communication team. I worked in Brand Management and Advertising. I was extremely lucky to get this position and to work with this team. My position was multidisciplinary and my mission was linked to all the teams. I contributed to the management of the “Wealth Management” brand, graphic design and preparation of advertising campaigns.

Overall, how has this year gone? What did it bring you?

Despite the health situation which has drastically changed our whole way of life and work, we had the chance to share good times together. Teamwork and collaborations were a bit difficult at first, but everything went well. This year has taught me that there is always a solution to any problem (hopefully soon for the Covid too) and persistence.

How did you approach the monthly seminars at the Intuit Lab School to complement your business experience?

What is interesting about the seminars is that you learn additional concepts and that you enrich yourself with your entourage which is made up of individuals from different backgrounds. The speakers came to complete and put into perspective all the concepts taught that we use in one way or another in the company where we work. And vice versa, our in-company training and the direct and not conceptual application of the theories made it possible to push our team projects during the weeks of seminars.

Why did you choose a work-study program?

I wanted to finish my studies in design with more than theory, because for me that was not enough since it does not correspond to "real life". I like to learn by doing and working on real projects. The work-study training allowed me to invest myself in my education in a solid way by feeding my learning from two sides: the company and the school.

Would you recommend this work-study training and more particularly at the Intuit Lab School? And if so, why ?

Absolutely. The Intuit Lab school has a hybrid structure and a rather Anglo-Saxon approach to design and that's what makes it unique: you can meet different profiles that feed the culture of the school.

What are your plans for the future?

I would like to continue my journey in the path of creation and strategy and focus more on subjects related to innovation, society and the environment.

Thank you Noor, we wish you every success for the rest of your adventures!
