Altaïr is 1st year prep student at Intuit Lab School and she tells us a little more about her : )

Hello Altair,

Introduce yourself in a few words,

My name is Altaïr, I am 19 years old. I am curious and I try to expand my knowledge in all areas that may interest me: reading, cinema, art, ecology, feminism ...

I am a very organized person but I also like spending time surrounded by my friends, who are pillars for me. I often lack self-confidence and this year The Intuit Lab School allowed me to believe a little more in my work and my abilities.

Describe your educational path from Bac,

I had my scientific baccalaureate in 2018. After which, I spent a few months at the Faculty, in Bachelor of Geography. I already knew more or less that I did not want to go down this path and although it was interesting I did not want to do my second semester.

I then started to take drawing lessons in a workshop, I traveled, went to see a lot of exhibitions… It was after that that I applied and was accepted at the Intuit Lab School!

What training are you?

I just finished my year in Preparatory class at Intuit Lab School and I will continue the course at school in the second year of Bachelor.

What are your extracurricular activities at school?

Outside of school I do classic dance ! I have been practicing for fifteen years in a totally amateur way and I like it a lot, it allows me to escape. It is in particular the first discipline which made me approach art!

Why did you choose the Intuit Lab School?

I chose the Intuit Lab School for its multidisciplinary, I'm the type to explore lots of disciplines rather than digging into a single one.

Conclusion international openness I was also interested, having always found different cultures fascinating and loved traveling.

I also really liked the concept of " creative intelligence »That the school puts forward!

What are, in your eyes, the 3 main assets of the Intuit Lab School?

Again, its multidisciplinary side, with materials that complement each other and that give everyone the opportunity to blossom.

The different rates of work: projects to be carried out in several weeks, throughout the year, to be carried out in one course or even over a week.

Working with professionals, whether the teachers or the speakers on weeks projects et workshops. I find it important, particularly in this type of study, to be in contact with people who know the reality of the profession and who pass it on to us.

What are your ambitions for the future?

I am not yet decided, I am thinking first of succeeding my Bachelor and surely also my master at the Intuit Lab School.

After that several areas interest me: scenography, publishing or communication (for companies or organizations that respect or defend the values that are important to me!).

Thank you very much Altaïr 🙂
