How to design the future?

To enable our students to be designers capable of adapting to changes in their profession, of reinventing themselves and of preparing for new challenges, our pedagogy "must be flexible and original so as not to train for trades but to train for trade orientations”. In an interview on the channel B-Smart for the Smart Education show, Clément Derock, co-founder of the Intuit Lab School, returned to the foundations of design professions and what makes it special our pedagogy creative where our students combine theory and practice, have a transversal approach to specialties and learn to develop their creativity, explore their strengths and assert their personality. 

“In the world of design, you have to see things in a universal way, and not have a single point of view with a single culture in a given place. Design, even if it's a profession where you have to solve a problem, you solve a problem of its time, with an environment and an influence of culture", assures Clément Derock on the importance of openness to the world for a designer. "That's why we encourage our students to go and see the world", in particular thanks to internships abroad, university exchanges or international workshops.
