Throughout the week of December 7 to 12, our Aix-en-Provence students have the chance to work alongside Danielle Evans et Claudio Gil and benefit from their international expertise. They can participate remotely in the workshops offered by these two artists.
Openness to the world is an essential value at Intuit Lab School, we are proud to be able to offer our students an international experience despite the current context!
Our first speaker of the international workshop of the week is Claudio Gil (RIO - BRAZIL), artist, teacher, designer and calligrapher connected directly from Rio de Janeiro!
His passion for letters began at the age of 11. He began to draw them and mix them in his landscape drawings, influenced by Albrecht Dürer, René Magritte, Van Gogh, Edward Munch among others.
It offers our students to merge calligraphy, composition and bookbinding techniques into a single project.
Our second speaker, Danielle Evans (COLUMBUS - OHIO - USA), artistic director and designer comes straight from the United States!
During our international workshop, she offers a workshop focused on 3-dimensional typography by exploiting the meanings of objects and their relationships with words and common expressions used in everyday life.
Pioneer of “Food Typhography” in 2013, she continues to create surprising metaphors about the world around us.
