MEET CAMILLE PIOT, GRADUATE FROM INTUIT LAB SCHOOL IN PARIS! 

Hello Camille, 

Who are you? 

I’m Camille Piot,  Digital Art Director in seenk. 

 

What is your background? 

I first made a IUT MMI (multimedia and Internet professions): we mainly had code lessons, a bit of photography and a tiny bit of graphic design (which I liked the most).

Then the school offered me to do a Professional Degree in Visual and Web Communication in Erasmus in Ireland: there it was more 50/50, I still had web integration courses but many more design courses.

Then and finally, it seemed logical to me to make a Master in Design that I realized atIntuit L Schoolab in Paris in digital specialization. 

 

What did you like during your studies atIntuit L Schoolab ?

The Intuit Lab School is a school on a human scale and very family! Used to this throughout my studies, I feared coming to Paris to lose this proximity and indeed to the Intuit Lab School, not at all, quite the contrary! 

The specials are for about thirty students and the specialization courses are more in small groups. Regarding the courses they are very varied, I was able to discover all the creative professions.

 

What is your job today? 

I have been working at the Seenk branding agency for 3 years, (including my work-study year), I am in charge of everything UI Digital interface design, like websites or apps!

I love it's a whole universe with a multitude of specifics and a lot of connections with the developer profession.

It's constantly evolving, the languages, the software, the design… and that's what I really like.

And I have the advantage at Seenk of also doing Branding,  visual identity creation going through the logo, it's quite different but just as interesting!

 

What makes you vibrate? 

The fact that the world of design is always constantly evolving.

And there is a huge sharing community, especially on Medium, I read a lot of articles but also on Dribbble, Behance or even Instagram.

There is always something to do 🙂 

 

Your landmark project? 

I would say that this is the project APM at Seenk! It had been a long time since I had done any branding and there, the project went very well and super fast in addition!

He's a great customer, we're even going to redo their site! It's super interesting for me to have created their logo and their identity and to be able to use this artistic direction for digital. Because generally when we redo a site there is already an artistic direction in place, which is always adjustable certainly, but there it is even better!

 

What do you recommend for future creations like you? 

To always be interested in what is being done and not to hesitate to do or redo! 

There are plenty of tutorials or courses on the internet, that's great. If tomorrow I want to learn 3D I can!

My advice is above all not to be afraid of creating!
