International: Direction India for our students

Travel is part of our school's DNA. It's by opening ourselves to different cultures that we cultivate our creativity. In India, where Intuit Lab has campuses in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and soon Bengaluru, nine students from Paris embarked on a study trip . Accompanied by Luz Blanco, a composition instructor, the preparatory and second-year Bachelor's students experienced an immersive journey in Mumbai.

On the program for the first few days, tattoo workshop and atypical discovery of the city with Aslam, a photo speaker at Intuit Lab. It is far from the tourist places that they met two communities. That of Fishermen then another in a natural park, which continues to live by preserving its pictorial traditions of drawings on the walls and the houses. The students visited this village in the company of Dinesh who continues this pictorial tradition. They were able to observe the stones of the river used to make natural pigments. After a detailed lesson on the meaning of each design, they were able to paint their stones.

With several days of independent exploration, each participant was able to discover Mumbai in their own way and immerse themselves in its culture and atmosphere. They also had the opportunity to celebrate Holi, the festival of colors marking the end of winter in India. The trip then continued with a week-long International Workshop at the Mumbai campus. Participants could choose between two workshops: "Designing Experiences That Transform How We Think, Feel, and Act" and "The Our Planet Week Illustration Movement: Creating an Illustration from a Word and Inspiring Environmental Awareness Through Art."
