International: Direction India for our students

A group of Bachelor 1 and 2 students traveled to Mumbai in India for 15 days.

Travel is part of our school's DNA. It is by opening up to different cultures that one notably forges one's creativity. In India, where theSchool Intuit Lab is based in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and soon Bengaluru, nine students from Paris took off for a study trip. Accompanied by Luz Blanco, speaker in composition, the students in preparatory class et Bachelor 2 experienced an immersion in Mumbai.

On the program for the first few days, tattoo workshop and atypical discovery of the city with Aslam, a photo speaker at Intuit Lab. It is far from the tourist places that they met two communities. That of Fishermen then another in a natural park, which continues to live by preserving its pictorial traditions of drawings on the walls and the houses. The students visited this village in the company of Dinesh who continues this pictorial tradition. They were able to observe the stones of the river used to make natural pigments. After a detailed lesson on the meaning of each design, they were able to paint their stones.

In a free program for several days, everyone was able to discover Mumbai in their own way and soak up its culture and atmosphere. They also had the opportunity to celebrate Holi, the festival of colors marking the end of winter in India. The trip then continued with a week of International Workshop at the Mumbai campus. On the program, two workshops were to choose from. That of “Designing experiences capable of transforming the way we think, feel and act” and “The movement Our Planet Week Illustration: Creating an illustration from a word and inspiring environmental awareness through art”.
